Hmmm. Found that tactician's sword has 80 dmg and 20 cd without reforges. Also found that mercenary axe has 70 dmg and 20 str without reforges. Same cost for both. But. So a max book is worth about 500k and a raider's axe is around 130k, so when you count the levels and everything, a maxed one without hot potatoes and no kills would be around 700k. It's still better that the aote as long as you have the wood collection. You might be able to get one for cheaper if you are lucky, sometimes maxed weapons …
